Celia is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. She has completed her MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is busy working in her private practice based in Rothley, Leicestershire. Celia has experience working as a volunteer counsellor and psychotherapist for a cancer charity and supporting NHS staff as a flexible counsellor and psychotherapist within an occupational health and wellbeing department.
Prior to counselling, Celia’s background was in Education, where she spent many years as a Primary School Teacher. Her passion for mental health developed from there when working with children and adults to support their mental health through mindfulness. Celia has enjoyed running mindfulness sessions for adults and children. It is important to Celia to offer her clients a counselling experience that is non-judgmental, compassionate, and caring.
By nature, Celia is a creative person, and so her approach offers a creative side when this is appropriate for the client. Celia has a special interest in working with health conditions, especially cancer. She is passionate about supporting others and is currently working on a project to provide group support to those affected by breast cancer.
Celia offers supervision to trainees and qualified therapists as well as other clinical/educational professionals. Her approach is supportive, compassionate, and focused on helping you feel safe, empowered, and able to grow as a practitioner within a trusting, collaborative relationship. She draws on models including Proctor’s Functional Model and Hawkins and Shohet’s Process Model, alongside creative approaches such as the CRAFTS Model. Celia offers supervision face-to-face (Rothley, Leicestershire), online, or by telephone, with concession rates for trainees.

In line with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework, Celia undertakes regular supervision and professional development. She holds a current enhanced DBS and is a Member of the BACP. Celia practices from her home studio which is private and confidential, where she provides 1:1 counselling and psychotherapy to young people 16 + and adults. Therapy is offered face-to-face, online or by telephone.
