Fiona is a warm and compassionate Integrative counsellor offering 1:1 therapy for adults and young people aged 16 and over. She works both online and in-person from The Sunrise Nook in Groby (LE6) on Tuesday mornings.
Qualified to Postgraduate Diploma level and currently completing the final year of her MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Fiona draws on a blend of Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. This integrative approach allows her to tailor sessions to each client’s unique experiences, challenges, and needs.
Her work is trauma-informed and relational, grounded in creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore.
Fiona brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles supporting young people and adults in school settings.
She has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing female hormonal difficulties such as PMDD and menopause, as well as those navigating bereavement and loss. Fiona also works with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-harm, domestic abuse, OCD, shame, low self-esteem, emotional regulation and more.
Fiona is passionate about building a strong therapeutic relationship and offering a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood.

Fiona undertakes regular clinical supervision and professional development in line with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical framework. She holds a current enhanced DBS and insurance and is a Student Member of the BACP.
