Loraine is a qualified person-centred counsellor with experience in most general issues. Some of these include those around loss, bereavement, depression, anxiety, family/relationships, gender, sexuality, self-harm, suicide, stress and low self-esteem.
Loraine offers a warm, empathic, non-judgemental safe space that enables her to work collaboratively toward a desired outcome. She has over 19 years of experience of working with young people, from the age of 13+, from a diverse range of backgrounds which has further fuelled her desire to help young people reach their true potential.
Loraine undertakes regular supervision and professional development in line with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical framework, holds a current DBS and is an Individual Member of the BACP. Loraine practises from Rutland House Counselling & Psychotherapy and Leicester Sports Medicine Clinic, both are in the Leicester city centre, where she provides 1:1 counselling to both young people and adults
