Shine Project - Therapeutic partner of Curve, Leicester

“The project will explore how drama-based interventions can be an effective tool to developing coping strategies to reduce anxiety and promote positive mental health.”

We are very excited to announce an incredible project which Sunrise is so proud to collaborate and support with - we bring you ‘Shine’ in partnership with Curve Leicester and the Randal Foundation.

We are delighted to be offering training, supervision and practitioner support during this amazing, invaluable 3 year project to support young people’s mental health

“Shine, a three-year collaboration between Curve Theatre and Randal Foundation, is a groundbreaking project that seeks to address the mental health crisis amongst young people in some of Leicester’s most disadvantaged communities.

By working in collaboration with practitioners, therapists, teachers and young people from five city centre schools, the project will explore how drama-based interventions can be an effective tool to developing coping strategies to reduce anxiety and promote positive mental health.

Through the programme, Curve and Randal Foundation seek to create a new framework for arts-based mental health support that can be taken on by arts organisations and inform national policy.”
