As a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in mental health, I bring a unique perspective to supporting your wellbeing. My journey began as a registered Mental Health Nurse, where I specialised in caring for children, young people, and adults with eating disorders in both CBT and Family Based Therapy and has since continued to offering both face to face and virtual CBT on both children and young persons pathways, adult and neurodiversity pathways meeting the needs of all age ranges for depression, anxiety, trauma, social anxiety, OCD, phobias, eating disorders, adjustment concerns and behaviour adjustments.
This hands-on experience has given me deep insight into the challenges individuals and families face, and fuels my compassionate, evidence-based approach to therapy. As an accredited business owner, I am dedicated to helping people build resilience, develop healthier relationships with themselves and others, and achieve lasting positive change. Your wellbeing is my priority, and I am here to guide you every step of the way and tailor your experience to meet each individual persons needs.
My practice provides a warm, safe space offering compassion and trust to encourage a collaborative approach to explore individuals thoughts and feelings at your own pace to build resilience for healing and growth.

Mental Health Nursing (Bsc Honors) Nursing and Midwifery Council member
Ongoing Professional Development in areas such as Anxiety, Trauma, Depression and Neurodiversity
Shikila works online with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) ethical framework, undertaking regular supervision and continuous training to ensure the highest standards of care. I hold an enhanced DBS and have up-to-date safeguarding certificate.
Availability
Shikila offers both 1:1 face to face or virtual sessions for young people and adults and children/young people and parent sessions weekdays and Saturdays.
